This is my ideal evening skincare routine, but I’ll admit I don’t always follow it and occasionally just use a baby wipe. As a trained beauty therapist and previous acne sufferer I should know better, but I don’t always have the time. With that in mind I’ve tried to keep my routine as simple as possible.
These are the products I have been using recently
Soap and Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk
I love this I use it as a hot cloth cleanser. I massage a few pumps onto my face, leave it for a few minutes and then wipe off with a face cloth or muslin cloth and hot water. I always notice a difference after using this and find it really moisturising.
Nip and Fab Glycolic Cleansing fix
Another product I am in love with, I use this mainly in the mornings or in the evening before the soap and glory cleanser If I have been wearing a lot of makeup. My skin definitely looks brighter after using this. I’ve always had an oily t zone and quite a few blackheads but since using this my skin has improved a lot. I mainly use this in the shower as a face wash.
Nivea sensitive Micellar Water
I have always been a massive fan of liquid cleansers as I feel they really remove your makeup and you can see the results. I’d heard a lot of other bloggers take about Micellar Water and I’m a convert. I feel like my skin is really clean without it feeling dry.
This is another Nip + fab product that I love, when I use them regularly my skin is definitely less oily. They really exfoliate my skin but never feel too harsh or drying. They say you can use them morning and night but I just use these in the evening.
Espa facial oil
I really love this facial oil, I received a free Sample after a spa day so I’m just trying to persuade myself to buy the full size bottle. It definitely hydrated my skin and always makes it feel amazing the next day! I use it before my night cream. Before I studied Beauty Therapy I avoided heavy moisturisers and definitely wouldn’t have considered a facial oil as I thought they would make my skin more oily. That’s not the case and with this my face never gets shiny the next day. People with oily skin actually need a good moisturiser as this help to balance your skins sebum production.
I love this night cream, it’s really thick without being greasy. As I hoard so many beauty products this had ended up at the bottom of a box and I was gutted to discover it had been discontinued. I’m getting to the end of it so am on a mission to find a new one. Can anyone recommend any for me to try?
